EpiGenie’s content marketing services are spearheaded by three partners.
Peter Jozsi
Pete founded EpiGenie, a news site dedicated to covering epigenetics and gene regulation in 2008. Since then, EpiGenie has expanded into covering stem cell and synthetic biology research and reaches nearly 150K researchers annually. The site is supported by 15 outstanding technical writers, editors, designers, and web developers, many of whom are the driving force behind our content marketing projects.
Prior to EpiGenie, Pete held roles in Product Development and Marketing for Genset Oligos and Invitrogen where he a led the development and launch of a diverse range of research products supporting gene expression/regulation, cytogenetics, and microRNA research.
During his years at the helm of EpiGenie, Pete has also consulted for many leading life science firms including Illumina, Sequenom, BioServe, Life Technologies, and New England Biolabs, creating content marketing plans and putting them into action.
Pete’s commercial background combined with publishing experience makes him a perfect commercial liaison for all of our clients. He’s been in the shoes of our clients and understands their challenges.
He loves surfing when he’s not working closely with our clients to develop a unique content marketing strategy that will provide immediate, but also sustainable results.
Nick Oswald, PhD
Nick is the Founder and Managing Director at Bitesize Bio, a website dedicated to providing useful content to researchers to improve their science and profession.
Nick obtained his doctorate from the University of Dundee and went on to hold a number of research scientist positions. It was during his the period when he launched BiteSizeBio.
After the early success of his website, Nick opted to pursue publishing full-time and hasn’t looked back. He has developed an impressive squad of technical writers and editors that fuel that diverse range of technical content on website that reaches over 100K scientists each month.
His technical background and lab expertise, combined with yeas of experience helping marketers get their message out via BiteSizeBio, makes Nick an ideal lead for developing content strategies that deliver results.
He loves brainstorming content strategy, identifying unique angles for our clients, and good Scotch, but never at the same time.
Laura Fulford, PhD
Laura is a Managing Editor of both EpiGenie and BitesizeBio, where she handles most of the day-to-day operations including content planning, development, and editorial functions.
Laura obtained her doctorate from the University of Dundee. Her love for science, but not necessarily the pipette, led her into STM publishing where she held editorial positions with BioMed Central and Prepress Projects before joining BiteSizeBio.
She is involved in developing content strategies, but really takes over during the implementation phase of our projects. A natural “doer,” Laura takes the vision and implements it with the attention to detail that complicated content marketing projects require.
Laura loves working with our clients to ensure that the joint content marketing vision comes to fruition. Oh, and she’s a sucker for cats; the feline type, not the musical.
