The specific goal for this meeting is to create a forum in which diverse areas of cell cycle regulation in a broad spectrum of experimental organisms can be openly and critically discussed.
Emphasis will be placed both upon areas of traditional interest to the cell cycle field, such as control of G1, DNA replication, checkpoint pathways and mitosis, and on areas of emerging interest and importance, such as the links between cell cycle regulation and development, spindle and chromosome dynamics, and specialized cell cycle states such as quiescence.
