For over 20 years, this conference has fostered new knowledge, methodologies, technical capabilities, and interdisciplinary collaborations in the realm of transcription, chromatin, and epigenetics in aging. The meeting provides a uniquely interactive, diverse, and inclusive forum for trainees and early-career investigators in very different areas, highlighting their research through lectures, short talks, poster presentations, and more.
This year’s conference will integrate the most cutting-edge interdisciplinary technologies, including chemical biology, metabolism, and therapeutics into an interactive format, focusing on epigenetic mechanisms in aging and disease. There is a vital need to understand the epigenetic mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases (notably neurodegeneration and cancer), as these mechanisms can have long-lasting consequences and are readily actionable by compounds. We will aim to build strong and long-term collaborations between the epigenetics and aging fields and bridge biological and translational aspects to foster interaction and enable potential collaborations.
This conference will also offer a new and exciting career-development section (Ignite Career Forum):
If you are an early-career researcher, do not miss out on this new career development opportunity.
Ignite Career Forum is a pre-conference workshop that will take place on the first day of your Science Research Conference prior to the first session. The forum will offer career development activities and unique networking opportunities with key senior investigators from academia and industry. In addition, the forum will provide selected undergraduates, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to discuss their research, projects, and results as well as obtain valuable feedback about their presentations. Discussions selected for the forum do not preclude oral presentations at the main conference. Participation will be limited to 30 individuals selected by the organizers. Attendees can request to attend this session when they register.
