The aim of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for chromatin and epigenomics researchers to present their research to colleagues and other scientists in a friendly environment
Over the last few years much has been learned regarding DNA methylation and various histone modifications. Now researchers are looking further afield for additional modifications, such as hydroxymethylation and N6-methyladenosine.
In addition, a lot of effort is being expended to identify epigenetic markers on new target molecules, particularly RNAs. This short meeting will focus on these efforts and talks will present work representing the current state of the art with respect to the new epigenetic marks and associated epigenomics.
