The Epigenetics research group at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID) is hosting the Midwest Chromatin and Epigenetics Meeting on the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus.
The meeting will be a unique and highly interactive platform to share the latest research on nuclear processes such as epigenetic modifications, chromatin packaging, transcription control, nuclear organization and DNA replication/repair/recombination. Attendees will be given the opportunity to identify collaborative opportunities, network with colleagues from around the Midwest and learn more about WID’s Epigenetics research theme.
Additionally, a JBC/Herb Tabor Young Investigator Award will be presented at the meeting. Associate editors of the Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) select promising young researchers at scientific symposia and meetings throughout the year to receive this award. The winner will be selected from those attending the 2014 meeting.
