What new technique reveals more information than methylation microarrays by detecting individual CpGs, increases throughput with reduced costs compared to Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing and reveals methylated regions undetected by RRBS and Me-Dip?
Tune in to a virtual presentation delivered Dr. Kyeong Soo Jeong, R&D Scientist, Genomics Group, Agilent Technologies as he presents a poster that showcases SureSelect Methyl-Seq a novel platform, which combines Agilent’s SureSelect Target Enrichment platform with bisulfite sequencing to detect methylation changes. The Methyl-Seq design targets human genomic CpG sites within CpG islands/shores, promoters, known differentially methylated regions (DMRs) and previously determined regulatory regions. This design covers 84Mb making it well suited to study cancer-, tissue-, and stem cell-specific DMRs.
