GeneChip Chromosome 21/22 2.0R Array is an updated research tool for studying human chromosomes 21 and 22.
- Versatile array is compatible with multiple applications.
- Exceptionally high-resolution 16 base pair tiling design offers most detailed genomic view.
- 25-mer probes yield the most specific hybridization results available.
Array Profile
The GeneChip Chromosome 21/22 2.0 Array is designed for transcript mapping or chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments on human chromosomes 21 and 22.
The Chromosome 2.0R Array is the second generation GeneChip Array product specifically designed to study human chromosomes 21 and 22. The Chromosome 21/22 2.0R Array offers updated genomic content, greater genomic resolution, and the convenience of a single array. Sequences used in the design of the Chromosome 21/22 2.0 Array were selected from NCBI human genome assembly (Build 35). Repetitive elements were removed by RepeatMasker. This array contains over 2.3 million probe pairs to interrogate chromosomes 21 and 22. Oligonucleotide probes are tiled at 16 base pair resolution, as measured from the central position of adjacent 25-mer oligos, creating an overlap of approximately 9 base pairs between probes.
