The miRCURY LNA microRNA Power Labeling Kits provide a fast and simple method for fluorescent labeling of total RNA samples from animals, plants and viruses. All small RNAs are uniformly labeled.
These kits are the perfect complement to Exiqon’s highly sensitive and specific miRCURY LNA microRNA Arrays. The labeled RNA molecules may be hybridized directly to the miRCURY LNA arrays, without additional microRNA enrichments or other time-consuming handling steps.
Features:
- Simple two-step protocol requiring no small RNA enrichment
- MicroRNA profiles from as low as 30 ng total RNA
- Consistent reliable results
- Uniform labeling
- Compatible with all common microarray scanning equipment
Our miRCURY LNA microRNA Power Labeling Kits follow a simple and fast two-step protocol. First, 5′-phosphates are removed from the microRNA termini using Calf Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase (CIP). Second, a fluorescent label is attached enzymatically to the 3′-end of the microRNAs in the total RNA sample. This is followed by an enzyme inactivation step after which the sample is ready for hybridization. See Figure 1 for an overview of the complete labeling and hybridization procedure.

miRCURY LNA microRNA Labeling Kits for single or dual color labeling of total RNA samples are available. The dyes used (Hy3 and Hy5) are spectrally equivalent to the well known Cy3 and Cy5 fluorophores.
